Paul is delighted to join the OHFT as Senior Biologist. Paul’s grandfather introduced him to fishing at a young age and grew up on the banks of the South Tyne so naturally became a passionate salmon angler. Paul studied fisheries management through Inverness College and has held many fisheries roles, including several years in the aquaculture industry then as a river bailiff/habitat officer for the Dee District Salmon Fishery Board and also a couple of seasons as a ghillie - one of which was at Amhuinnsuidhe Castle Estate. More recently Paul returned to academic studies and completed a BSc Honours degree through the Open University.
